DIVISION ZERO

Product

One system for the work between receiving the plans and handing off the award.

Each stage builds on the record created before it. Estimators spend less time moving information between disconnected tools and more time reviewing scope, improving coverage, comparing bids, and making decisions.

01 · Understand the work

Start with a traceable scope, not a blank page.

Division Zero indexes the sheets using the names and numbers already found in the plan set, then reads across drawings, details, schedules, notes, and specifications to draft a scope for each applicable trade. Every proposed item stays connected to its source. The estimator verifies, corrects, and approves what belongs in the final scope.

Surfaced for attention

  • Missing scope
  • Conflicting requirements
  • Uncertain findings
  • Responsibility gaps
  • Addendum impacts

02 · Reach the right subcontractors

Consistent packages. Familiar email. Real coverage.

Each approved trade scope becomes a bid package with project information, documents, bid form, due date, and submission instructions. Every invited subcontractor receives the same authorized package. The estimator decides whom to invite. Invitations send only after approval. An invitation is not the same as coverage.

03 · Compare what was actually bid

The submitted proposal stays authoritative. Leveling stays separate.

Subcontractors can complete the structured bid form, upload a proposal, or initially send it by email. Division Zero creates one bid record, with extracted values tied to the source page. The submitted price never changes. A separate leveled comparison carries adjustments the contractor reviews and approves.

04 · Carry the decision into construction

Preserve more than the winning number.

Internal selection, intent to award, formal award, and contract execution stay distinct. Selecting a bidder does not send an award. Construction receives the record behind the decision: final scope, governing proposal, commitments, open issues, and next actions.

Division Zero reads, organizes, drafts, compares, and flags. Estimators verify, approve, communicate, and decide. Consequential actions remain reviewable. Nothing external happens without authorized approval.
